The Tuning Fork is a newly enhanced grief support program for children and youth to deal with grief and loss. It is designed to help children who are anticipating or have experienced the death of a loved one. The program is lead by trained caring Hospice Muskoka volunteers. Facilitators will help children understand their feelings and emotions, find effective ways of expressing their feelings in a safe environment and will encourage play. Facilitators will help children focus on their emotional and educational development, helping them to overcome grief and loss, improving their potential to achieve positive life outcomes, live happy lives and achieve their goals.
