Peers Fostering Hope Volunteer

We are looking for volunteers for our Peers Fostering Hope (PFH) program.  PFH is a one-to-one peer support program for people with stroke and their family, who are still in the hospital. The goal of the program is to provide emotional support, hope for improved recovery, and decrease feelings if isolation by connecting with someone who is successfully living with stroke in the community. Volunteers will be doing this at Muskoka Algonquin Healthcare.

PFH is an incredible opportunity to share your experience with someone who is scared and unsure of their future after stroke. You will impact lives, make a difference and learn about yourself in the process.

We look forward to hearing from you!
