Circles South Muskoka Volunteers

YWCA Muskoka is launching a second Circles site in South Muskoka in September 2019. Circles is a collaborative committed to the elimination of poverty in our community in our lifetime by exploiting the power of a caring community working together. Circles is a supportive, intentional, reciprocal relationship comprised of a Circle Leader, an individual or family working to get out of poverty, and two to four volunteer community Allies, middle to upper income people who are willing to befriend the family and support their way out of poverty.

We are currently recruiting allies, volunteers for food teams (cooking and serving a healthy meal) and volunteers for the Children’s Programming.

If you’re interested in learning more, please visit our webpage, or contact YWCA Muskoka.

Please note volunteers at Circles Muskoka are required to attend Bridges Out of Poverty training. The next training will be in late Spring 2019.
